The tubing is made from flame retardant,<br>flexible cross-linked polyolefin with an internal layer of excellent hot melt adhesive.<br>The heat-shrinkable outer wall is durable, while maintaining the high<br>flow and excellent adhesion of the inner sealant liner.<br>When heated in excess of 125ºC (257ºF), the tubing rapidly shrinks to a<br>skintight fit, forcing the melted adhesive lining to flow and cover the underlying surface. The<br>adhesive forms a flexible bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals.<br>Upon cooling, the adhesive solidifies, forming a permanent, non-drying, flexible and<br>water resistant barrier.<br>Length<br>The lengths offered in this listing are 12 inch (1 foot) pre-cut lengths. The tubing is precut to simplify shipping. We cannot provide continuous length tubes so a quantity of 6 would be 6 one foot tubes.<br>The tubing is easily cut to your preferred length with scissors or razor blade but a razor blade cut on a flat surface is the preferable way for cuts to be made.
